Weren't a lot of the shows in the 70s bad? At the very least fashion wise (but thats what was in style then) and I don't think his outfits were the main focus of the show..lol For a sci-fi/horror show from the 70s it wasnt that bad.... something different... but anyways I prefer him in a Christmas story...

dude...absolutely. That show was great...I remember watching it as a kid, still watch the reruns when sci-Fi channel runs them. Can't think of anyone who would have fit the part better. (Guess that's why I was so disappointed by the new one they tried to do last year.)

I wanted that car for a long time...and the hat...classic 70's reporter. His look made him representative of the average man, which made him an unlikely hero, but also made him beleivable.

After a few episodes I was bored with his easy to predict part. Maybe it was the writers fault.

He has been in at least 21 movies and on 176 TV programs in his career.

He had a great part and is unforgettable in "The Natural."
