It is not E. For it to be E it would have to say Dominated : Subdued. It is not D.. for they mean the same thing. It is not C because they are opposites. A does not work, because you can not be both fertile and pollinated. Devastated is a strong emotion, Wounded is less; Joyous is a strong emotion, content is less.
Devastated : Wounded
Joyous : Content

Devastated is to wonded as
Joyous is to content
My reason is that devastated is intense where wonded is mild
of joyous is a intense word as compaired to content being mild

I would say subdued: dominated. But I have no idea if that's the right answer or not.
