easy.
try to be in a quiet place.
close your eyes.
take a deep breath and exhale very slowly, imagining yourself being drained of all the stress. keep exhaling, trying to drain every centimeter from stress, until you have no more air left.
now imagine yourself in your fav. relaxing place (beach/forest treehouse/whatever) and then breath in slowly (counting to 10 at first, then more) until you are very full of air. and pause for a while. then exhale as slowly as you can, but evenly as well.
focus on your breathing. nothing else but your breathing.
--and you can do this in a steamy tub bath for a better effect :)

1. Sit in a comfortable position or if u want laydown on a carpet.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Take a Deep breath and breath out slowly.
4. Relax your whole body. if there is any stiffness in any part loosen it.
5. Be aware of your breath, breath slowly.
6. You can say this mentally "As I breath in my body is getting more energized & light, as i breath out i am feeling more and more relaxed"
7. now mentally concentrate and relax everypart of ur body starting from Toe to Head. Start from the Toe (for eg:- Mentally say urself ' my right and left toe is totally relaxed and feeling comfortable')
8. After relaxing whole body stay in that calm relaxed state for some time.
9. Slowly open your eyes with a big smile on ur face.
Practise this as many times as u wish.

A hot bath always works for me when ive had a long day. a couple other things that i do is that i just go drive around town or out in the country when i need to just think and run things through my head. And if im in a bad mood from the stress i workout or punch the punching bag to relax my mind.

mediation. my doctor recommended it for my stress. find a quiet spot, sit in the "lotus position" (cross legged), hold your forefinger and thumb together (both hands) to form a lil "o" shape (it's to let you know when your concentration is broken). then just clear your mind and say a mantra (anything at all) then breathe in through your nose, out our mouth. set a timer or something for 30 min so you can just forget about everything and just focus on relaxing.

You might examine your diet and see if you are lacking something you need. If you've had a recent blood test, maybe getting a copy mailed to you and looking it over carefully will help. Also remember the world's difficulties are the world's. Look inside yourself and those to whom you are meant to share your life with.

Dump some of the things that are consuming your schedule. When you aren't so busy you can just sit still in nature or something. That should do the trick. You are overextended.
