Does anyone else have a teen that claims to be a juggalo? From my understanding this is a "follower" not just a fan, of the group ICP (Insane Clown Posse). If you know anything about this group, or any of their spin off's, please let me know what you know. All I know so far is it is for people that don't feel like they fit in, which makes me sad that he feels that way.

A Juggalo is a member of the Insane Clown Posse and or fan.
ICP is a Detroit Michigan group formed by two guys primarily that were outcasts and although yes there album's are explicit they get a bunch of kids together that are poor angry and tired of being bullied.
In that respect I think It is a good thing. Your son is just trying to find an outlet to vent. I know the feeling being from Michigan and having a bunch of friends into ICP. The worst thing that could happen is he starts drinking a lot of Faygo pop spending all of his money on ICP Shirts, Getting in a few fights raising a little hell and of course smoking alittle dope. Which With or without ICP are bound to happen In most cases. I know your most likely worried. But I have been were your son is at I found someone to look up to and he taught me a lot plus the deal was and agreed on with my parents that he wouldnt tell them what I said so made it easy to talk about problems. To find a solution.
I guess ICP is a good thing for people to fit in though

I wouldnt say these people don't fit in.... do you know how many people listen to ICP? The lyrics are explicit...Ibut if your son is a teen Im sure he has heard worse...lol. My husband occasionally listens to them and my son does as well. I personally find them annoying...lol. Im not too sure exactly what you are worried about but everything Ive seen and heard juggalos are just fans....

ICP is a very, very hardcore rap duo. Most of their lyrics are intensely sexual and/or intensely violent. However, you have to remember that in this day and age, the lyrics aren't necessarily instructions on what the listener should do. Many times they're just an expression of the singer's thoughts and emotions, not a prescribed course of action.
I don't pretend to know your teen, of course, but just try to keep that in mind before deciding he/she shouldn't listen to it. Take a listen yourself, I find some of the lyrics humorous, when taken in a tongue-in-cheek manner, which is my impression of how they are intended.
I don't normally recommend Wikipedia, but in this case, the site does have an excellent article on the group.
