I am one class short from my bachelor's degree. I am unable to take the course in the fall but will in the winter. I want to apply for a city and also a county position that requires a bachelor's. Are they lenient and understanding enough to let me continue.?? My plan is to get the job and fulfill the class by taking an "intership" class. If I get the job, I can count that as my "internship" class. I don't have to attend class, just write daily journals and a report at the end.

I'm really scared I won't find a job, are they lenient? I hope they are understanding of my situation and still let me go through the process. Please help!

In most cases and most job the answer is no... If this is a position with a city or county government then i can pretty much gurantee the answer will be no.... doesn't hurt to ask, but i've gone thru the same ordeal as you when i was close to graduation..... long and the short of it is you should have planned your classes better in college.
