Democrats tend to be more liberal, Republicans more tend to be conservative.

Liberals support the following:
-Universal health care for all Americans. This just makes sense for everyone. Whatever you are paying now (or your company is paying for you...with money that otherwise YOU'd recieve) would be cut in one third with a single payer health system. Better rates on medicines (bargaining power...working for the American people), no corporate hospital profits, no insurance company profits, no ultra-high paid CEO's all around...all of this would be gone, which reduces the cost of healthcare for everyone. I'm not saying to run it like a third-world dictator would. We're talking more like Switzerland or Sweden or Denmark, or Ireland, or Spain...Really, really good! We don't pay for cosmetic surgery except in case of disfigurement. More on that another time. Sorry about the rant.
-Universal higher education. The People of our country deserve to have good educations and not have to worry about whether they can afford it or not.
-Intelligent foreign policy...no wars of attrition.
-Civil Rights.
-Slightly higher taxes, but you can see where your money is going...to benefit you and your family.
-Balanced budget. Liberals do not believe in borrowing money from China and Saudi Arabia, neither of which are exactly friendly nations. The interest on our loans is currently at $385 BILLION PER YEAR!!!! That's over $1000 per year for every man, woman, and child in America...just to pay the interest!
-Freedom of and from religion. We believe that everyone's religious views are their own. Having one religion dictate what is ok for us to do, while ignoring the other religions is tyrrany, and is theocracy.
-War. Only when truly neccesary. Iraq wasn't. There was no "Clear and present danger". We did not need to commit genocide over there.

Do some of your own research on Depleted Uranium. See what it does. See how long it lasts. See how it works and why. When you do, you will see that DU is radioactive, and when it burns, it becomes airborne. Any wind will kick it back up even after all of it settles on the ground. The half-life of exploded DU rounds is 4.5 BILLION YEARS!!!! So, every year that goes by for the next 4.5 BILLION YEARS, the people that live in the middle east...at least as far away as western India and down to Egypt...the radiation levels in every human being will grow and grow as they are constantly re-exposed. They are getting cancer at 160 TIMES the normal rate for that area. Children are being born with morbid birth defects including being born with: no mouth, enlarged head, missing or deformed limbs, radiation burns, no brain, a single eye in their forhead, like cyclops, no head, no ribs, no bones, no digestive system, etc. This radiation also affected US troops. Birth defects among US troops serving in the military in Iraq both times have more than tripled since Gulf War I. The radiation particles from the DU can ba passed by saliva and semen...which means that even though they didn't know what was going on, they passed radiation on to their family. And this brings us to what Republicans stand for. :D

Republicans believe in the following:
-High regulation of individuals' personal behaviors.
-Low regulation of corporations...generally siding with corporations in any dispute, even in cases of personal injury from a company's negligence (accidental or intentional). Corporations generally pay little to no federal taxes under the most recent Tax codes. Neither do the ultra-rich. Just us working scmucks carrying the entire tax burden for the country.
-Lower taxes on the rich, occasional short term tax drops for the middle and lower classes.
-Unilateral, unprovoked war (Don't forget that the PNAC [Cheney and Rumsfeld's think tank] said in a published report that they wanted to invade and occupy Iraq both to control the oil, and to build strategic military bases there to strengthen the US's role in world domination [their words]).
-Exporting Jobs - they have given tax incentives for companies to outsource their labor to other, cheaper countries.
-Health care - with conservatives, you have to earn the privilige of decent health care by "working hard and getting rich". Of course, less than 2% of people change class from the class of their family, and less than 1% change two classes. This includes people moving from rich to poor as well. "Upwardly Mobile" is a rather rare occurrance. Either way, you have to somehow "earn" the right to be healthy and see a doctor. Emergency room care is not health care...it's emergency care. It costs lots or tax dollars when a poor person with no insurance has to see a doctor for something that is not an emergency.
-Budget. The "Fiscal Conservatives" have placed us in increasing deficit each year (each year setting a new record), and a current national debt greater than the debt under every former president combined!
-Against separation of Church and State. If you aren't the "right type" of Evangelical Christian, even your religion isn't good enough for them. This is why the founders of our nation so explicitly created a seperation...to protect religions from politics!
-Want to dictate what is "moral" behavior...this was warned about in the Constitution.
-Believe that war profiteering is ok.

The list goes on and on.

You see the base concept of the values of each here. I'm not claiming that everyone on one side is evil or everyone on the other is good. I'm talking about historical tendencies, and current actions.

Good luck finding the party that works best for you :D

Patriot Self Defense system is successful for two main reasons. The initial is that it make use of straightforward steps combined from all the best fighting styles around. The 2nd is that the manufacturers of this program didn't stop there, they took these moves into the research laboratory and ran all form of scientific tests to generate as much information as feasible prior to setting to function to examine this information and put together a scientific industrialized self-defense system that quite frankly changes the industry.
Feel safe with Patriot Self Defense

Democrats and republicans are the two major political parties. You can be liberal on certain issues (say pro-choice) or conservative on an issue (pro-life or anti-abortion depending on how you look at it). I am not a democrat nor am I a republican. I listen to each issue and then decide according to what I think is right. I am liberal on some issues and conservative on others. Research and decide.

When it comes to the core beliefs, Republicans believe an individual's destiny is in their own hands. Democrats believe that the government should intervene and maintain control so that the entire country does not commit suicide as a whole. Both parties have great philosophies when it comes to certain subjects like National Defense, Education, Immigration, The Economy and Taxes. Reps believe taxes should be decided by the people. Dems are all about micromanaging cities and states and chose to implement taxes where necessary. (I'm Republican for that one). When it comes to the economy of the nation, Republicans tend to let big companies bend the rules in the name of innovation. However small businesses still have a ton of laws to obey and struggle to grow. On the other hand Democrats believe that small business AND large businesses have to follow the same laws and will intervene at almost ANY legal dispute. (I am neither Republican nor Democratic here). Each party has their strength and weakness. You just need to do an in depth research on them and perhaps some case studies. Basically Republicans are for the People to control themselves with minimal government intervention (like instead of dishing out unemployment, they create jobs by using the government money)...and Democrats are for the government to be in control. (like handing out welfare to drug abusers and ex cons who are challenged at getting a job due to past activities..just enough money to keep them alive but not enough to thrive) Republicans= "get off your *** and do it yourself" Democrats="Ok well here's some money..we understand your struggle, but we have to treat the less deserving the same as you" As for Liberals (as well as the American Union), they are typically associated with Democrats (but not always) and Conservatives (and the Tea Party) are associated with Republicans. Ask yourself this; Do you want to work hard for your money (Republicans)? Or do you want help with every obstacle you come across (Democrats)?

I beg to differ. Not all Democrat are Liberal and not all Republicans are conservative. At this junction I don't see a lot of difference in them. Most,no matter which party , they seem to be helping themselves and their constituents and it is not about the general population. We really don't count. After all Bush is the"decider" and "Great decisions he has made." If he were after the terrorist for 9/11 he would be in Saudi Arabia because that's where they came from. But instead Hew is seen holding hands with their President. Oh well ,no matter who is in office they have their own agenda and not ours .
