I am cramping at 18 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I laid in the floor in a ball. Its on and off, but now the pain is also in my back and feels like its shooting up my back. I am not bleeding so is this something I should be concerned with??

Yes any pain that causes that type of symptom and sever pain is of concern. Speak to your doctor about it immediately

Any pain or abnormal things that last more than a day, or are more than dull should be brought to the attention of a doctor. UTIs are more common during pregnancy, and can lead to kidney infections too. It could be that, or it could be a miscarriage, or any number of other things. If the pain is bad, go to emerg. or a clinic right away, or at least call the doc to ask if you should seek immediate attention, or wait till tomorrow. If no way to get help through doc's office number, then you could always call hospital's labor and delivery or emerg for advice.

Yes. It is something to be concerned about. Get to the ER.

If it turns out its some harmless freak thing that's fine; but what you're having is similar enough to serious problems in a pregnancy that you need to see a doctor.

Even without bleeding (which is good), cramping or pain isn't a good thing.

Make an appointment at your doctor, tell them your symptoms and get in asap.

It may not be a big deal, but it is something that should be checked & not ignored.

I'm not sure - every pregnancy is different. You didn't say if this was your first, I'm assuming it is. Any questions, call the doctor asap! There is no harm in a phone call - it could even be something you ate, but don't take that chance. Call - let them reassure you - take it easy and May God bless you & this sweet baby.

You need to go to the ER sweetie, it may not be anything serious, but better safe than sorry~especially since it's been going on for 2 days. Good Luck

I'd call your doctor or go to the ER. It could be nothing, but why take the chance. If it is something the sooner you figure it out the better the chance that they can fix it.
