I've never used a sanatary belt before but as for thin pads, I believe so. The technology has gotten better so they are more absorbant and less bulky. If you haven't triend before I'm sure you can get a sample online to try them out. That way you wont waste your money on a pack/box.

Beats me.
I'm still scarred from seeing the original sanitary belts in those sex ed movies in elem. school. No way am I strappin on one of those things. Pass the tampons please.
