Well, proactive usually makes acne worse (to get it all out of your system) then gets better.. you should try a good face wash before you try any medications or ance treatments..it sounds like maybe it could be that you have a lot of natural oils, which causes a cluster of small pimples to show up on the surface of the skin- especially on the forehead. Washing your face all throughout the day would help a lot in my oppinion. Im no expert or anything. I'm only 16, but i've had my share of acne, and im just speaking out of personal experience.. but hey, everyone is different. Before i even got to finish reading your question and a saw you said "small pimples all over my cheeks that aren't noticeable" i was first thinking that it may be egg-zee-mah (can't spell it out) but it's like a rash that won't go away unless you get perscriptive medications from your doctor. Anywho, try washing your face a lot throughout the day first, wash your face with a good face wash specifically for acne, once in the morning when you wake up, then once at night. if that doesn't work, maybe you can ask your doctor to give you a number to a good dermatologist (specializes in skin) goodluck.:) trust me, you're lucky its not noticable (as you say). Some people have it really bad.. like i USED to:P

just ignore cosmetic creams and other antidandruff shampoo's,. Use only Medicated Dettol Soap for face wash (only 1 or 2 times max.) and use Nizral Shampoo for Dandruff

I used his "Clear Skin Regimen" method (it's not a product) to get rid of forehead pimples, But I'm 40.
If your daughter is still a child and hasn't hit puberty, take her to a doctor to find out what's wrong. It might be a rash or an allergic reaction, not pimples at all.

Dandruff and pimples are as opposite as constipation and diahrrea.
That said, use a less oily shampoo and you can wash her forehead with an astringent like alcohol, witch hazel, or phisoderm oily skin soap.

Try alpha hydroxy soaps. About $6 at Wal-Mart. You can also spend a little more money and do Proactive (on-line ordering $20)
Should clear up problem spots.
And it could be the shampoo/conditioner/hairspray shes using.
Good luck.

The face skin is different than the rest of the skin. It creates a lot more oil than any other skin on our boddies. Tell your daughter to wash her face in the morning and at night. Also, change pillow cases once a week because a pillow case will act like a sponge for face oils. Hope it helped!!

hi. i used to have pimples too. this is what worked for me:
1. wash your face with a mild facial wash, like ponds anti-acne.
2. use a good toner, but alcohol-free toner like nivea.
3. use a good moisturizer like ponds, or olay, whichever is appropriate for you. if your face is well moisturized, your glands will "sense" that, so they'd produce less oil. thus, less pimples!
4. apply an oil absorbing gel like neutrogena on the pimple. or apply proactiv on the zits.
5. don't go to sleep without washing, toning, and moisturizing your face.
drink lots of water!!!
for dandruff, look for shampoo that has ZPT formula, try head and shoulders. or for a quick fix, search for Nizoral shampoos in drugstores.
good luck!!!
