If you have an ipod can you download music that you have already downloaded on window's media player ... ?

like if you downloaded or copied CD's onto media player or musicmatch can you put them on an ipod ... or do you need to get music from itunes? cuz i dont know how to use it and i dont want to buy one and not be able to download my stuff from media player.

try this first go ahead download itunes then when you have that screen up, pull up windows try dragging the songs from windows to itunes if that doesn't work try creating a separate file drag songs from windows to the folder then the folder to itunes try that before you buy an ipod
