Why are gay guys so materialistic? Is it just another sterotype or what? I'm gay and I find myself to be somewhat materialistic.. why..

Stereotype.
I'm not materialistic in the sense of wanting "nice things" simply to have them. The things I have are usually for utilitarian/practical purposes. I rarely buy things simply to decorate with them.

Because we know and appreciate the value of nice things, that's not being materialistic dear, that's just having GREAT taste!

we have the funds to do it....we're not raising children...but I don't think that gay people really put it all down to materialism.
