Thank you. How do I Know which one is installed in my pc?

USB1 = slow
USB2 = fast

There are mainly two versions of usb ports. First came the USB 1.0 port which was much slower compared to the new USB port version 2. All new motherboards comes with the USB 2 ports. But to get the max out of it u need usb 2 devices also.

The original USB ports are much slower than the newer USB 2.0 ports. So, I guess the answer is yes.

There is no "Slow" as a name, but USB 1.1 has two speeds in addition to USB 2.0 high-speed. Total 3 kinds of speed.
USB 1.1 full speed: 1.5 mbps
USB 1.1 fast speed: 4 mbps
USB 2.0 high speed: 250 mbps
But only 2 kinds of USB port, same, they are compatible to each other.

Yes. There's USB 1 and USB 2. Two is the newer and faster one.

yes, USB 2.0 is alot faster then the standerd 1.0 ports

yes the older ones that are slower are 1.1 and the newer fast ones are 2.0
