What is this for?
For shinanegan purposes, alt+tab will cycle through your open programs, which can cover up a website you have been visiting.
Alt+f4 will also instantly close (out of) the current browser and all its tabs (if you are using firefox.)
Also, 3rd party browser addons, or special browsers may have their own function keys for this, but I do not know them for certain. EI is pretty much stuck with alt+tab (which i have mastered =P.)
If you REALLY need, you can make a shortcut of "show desktop" and then assign it a command key (would be ctrl+alt+___), but that's a bit much. Would be good to know your intents.
