At 14, you need to first begin in high school plays. That includes ALL facets from acting, to set painting, to clean up, etc. Then, community theater. A lot of community theater. Then, acting workshops and more community theater. Then worry about the rest. And YOU have to scope these things out, no one else will do it for you, so get into drama club at school and start the process. There is NO EASY way to do this and you have MANY years ahead of hard work, dedication and a lot of disappointment. No magic, just hard work. Good luck.

All the answers so far, are valid.
14 isn't a deterrant or a promise of getting work, and you aren't able to actually WORK, without concessions anyway.
High School plays, community theater, Libraries to do research, Volunteering outside your immediate situation, STUDY, and be prepared to be told NO!
Also I suggest initially, do not audition for a part way beyond your scope. IE: Don't look for the part of an older person, if you can't make it a believeable experience/performance.
Certainly that doesn't strictly apply to youth theater,,,Even a 14 year old has likely played Scrooge.
Since you said PLAN,,,rather than I WANNA,,,I assume you truly have this PLAN on some level that is believeably possible, to you, and are already working toward it.
Regarding rejections... Don't take them as personal attacks, but do refine your search until you've gained more theatrical knowledge, experience, and your own unique stage presence.

I hope your plan included acting classes. You are not ready for an agent. Ask your parents to help you find auditions. At 14, you have to have the approval of your parents before you can appear in a play.

Try your local Little Theater. Check their upcoming production schedule for any plays which might contain a part you could audition for. If your town doesn't have a Little Theater check other nearby towns in the area.

It may not seem like much but try the local colleges, and your local playhouse if you have one, they are always looking for child actors, also pending on where you are at an Agent could help. And one last thing dont get discouraged at this business. Its all about looks first talent next. If you look the part you can get it, just make sure to back your looks up ;)
