The most simple way to take a screen shot would be by pushing Print Screen button at the time you want to take the screenshot, it is located above insert and delete, and by scroll lock. After you do that, go in to an application like paint, and select edit, and then paste. After that the screen shot should appear in the paint window, to which you can edit it and select how much of it you want. Just mess around with it to learn more.

The Prnt Scrn key on each computer keyboard is different so you will have to look on your keyboard for the key. Usually it is around the function keys (e.g. F12).

Hold down the ALT key and press the Prnt Scrn button at the same time. If the ALT key doesn't work, hold down the CTRL key and press Prnt Scrn. This will take a screen shot of your screen.

Then you click CTRL-V to paste the screen shot into an email, Word document or whatever program you wish.
