What is SPF stands for? What is the good brand I can found in Sri Lanka? Will sun screen lotion stop darkening my skin? please help. I don't want to dark my skin. I want to protect it from harsh sun rays.

I believe: SPF is sun protection factor---but don't know for sure.
The numbers relate to how long you can stay in the sun without expecting to get burned WITH the sun screen- compared to how long to get burned WITHOUT sun screen. The higher the number the longer you can stay out - without supposedly getting burned.
Everyone should use it because the sun does so much damage. Maybe check with a Health worker to see what you need.

SPF is Sun protection factor. the higher the spf, the greater protection you have from the harmful rays of the sun. since you have medium complexion, you can use SPF 25 . actually because our ozone layer is getting destroyed, everyone should wear sunscreen, to prevent cancer. try non-grease products by hawaiian tropics or banana boat but i hope they are available in your country. Take care!!!

We all need sunscreen. Doesn't matter what country we come from, the sun will burn us eventually.
SPF is sun protection factor.
You should also wear a hat and a long sleeved shirt when in the sun.

How bad do you want skin cancer? If u want it wear no sunscreen. If you don't load up. Sun Protection Factor 30 would suffice to keep your skin moisturized and protected. Make sure it is both UVA and UVB protection
