The (chicken) is probably dog or cat meat! One of those restaurants in my town was closed up and the owner disappeared, when it was found out that they were putting dog and cat meat in their meals! Sick bastards!!!!! The old joke is that when (they) move into your neighborhood, the dogs and cats start to disappear! There must be some truth to that rumor!

Overrall, i do NOT trust Chinese restaurants, especially if they are not very clean inside. As for your Chinese friend saying that, i would not order the chicken.

Listen, they're like bugs. They'll live off of anything. It is wise not to eat what they call chicken, because in fact it is not. BUT, if you find a chinese woman in her mid 20's, thin, with a fairly good sized butt, and short black hair...... KEEP HER!!!!.
