1. While closed press and hold answer button until the light is solid.
2. Open boom
3. From phone's setting find a search for bluetooth choice and then
press it.
4. The name of the headset will show up on the phone.
5. HIt connect
6. lights on headset will start blinking indicating that it is ready.

Be sure bluetooth on your phone is turned on. My wife just got a Razor and the geniuses at Motorola have Bluetooth off by default.
If she wants Bluetooth on she has to go thru the agonizing menu everytime she shuts the phone off.

Go to phone setting then connection turn bluetooth on and headset on then they'll find each other.

first turn on phone then turn on headet..put them within 3 feet of each other--- they find each other and sync automatically
