I didn't watch this interview, but I wish I had. Hooray for Fox News for holding Bill Clinton accountable for mistakes which led directly to the 9-11 attacks.
For those wanting to read the entire interview, turn to

For an interesting commentary on Clinton's attack on Chris Wallace, see http://www.redstate.com/stories/the_parties/democrats/a_thought_on_the_bill_clinton_chris_wallace_interview
For spin from the left, I couldn't find much useful, obviously, but to show I can be fair, try http://talkleft.com/new_archives/015798.html
Let me add that I just watched the YouTube clip of the interview. Setting the record straight? Puh-leaze!!! Sounded more like a left-wing rant to me.

"Enthusiastically responded " ? That's rich . Clinton wigged out because Chris Wallace was on to something . The ground rules were preset for the interview-so much time allowed for globalization ; etc . To quote Wallace , "he would have nothing of the ground rules". If you watched the interview ( past the utube "CLIP" ) - Wallace asked , "Do you want to talk about globalization now "? Clinton told him , "No, I want to talk about this ". It was like watching an adult ( Wallace ) , speak diplomatically to a temper-mental child ( Clinton ) . It sounds like many are getting the drive-by media's version -instead of watching the entire interview . The only other time Clinton got that indignant-was when he was exposed for his promiscuity in the White House when he cheated on Hillary for the umpteenth time . "A refreshing look at someone trying to set the record straight "? I can hardly type because my whole body is racked with laughter .What part of "straight" has Clinton ever been close to ? The man perjured himself ; was disbarred;impeached ; in scandal after scandal ( Whitewater / Travel-Gate ) etc . ; and lied about getting close to killing bin laden ..Does he think the fact that he refused capture of bin Laden by Sudan-that means he was actually .."close to killing him "? I don't think that qualifies as "close to killing bin Laden". Clinton is pulling the wool over your eyes . So , he has lied to all the above-yet you think he was now going to "come clean" with Chris Wallace ? I 'm sorry -I can not stop laughing . You are a scream .

Chris Wallace was shockingly biased and prejudice as an interviewer, Clinton had all the right to give him a serve,
The fact is this was Wallace's first major interview with some one of actual relevance in years!! Of course he tried to be a smart *** with his little smirk , Clinton picked up on that.
Yes Clinton is setting the record straight.

I'm not sure what you mean by Bill Clinton's "meltdown" and "outburst". In my opinion, he is "standing up" for what he believes.
As a public school teacher in the United States Public School System, I am "enthusiastic" about denying illegal immigrants being given "unconditional" access to the public schools:.but, due to Laura Bush and her crusade to assimilate all the "jalapenos" onto her ranch and into America, I am being forced, through the No Child Left Behind, to teach Hispanics who do not speak the English language, do not want to learn English, do not have any concept of American History, or want to learn anything American. Am I having a "meltdown" or an "ourburst"?
Clinton doesn't have to set any record "straight". His record speaks for itself; as does the record of Bush. Without the people,
the "media" would not exist. Make them accountable!

Clinton had agreed to 15 minutes of anything Wallace brought up...he should have seen it coming. I think Clinton just lost his temper to defend himself.

Meltdown, He lost it totally lost it. Ive seen that wagging finger somewhere before. He has regrets that fine but there was nothing humble about anything he said! He's still mad he got caught with Monia!

Bill was upset because the interview was supposed to be about his money raising project and it turned into a bait and switch during the interview. I don't look at it as a meltdown as much as I think him trying to seperate himself from the Bush fiasco. Leave it to Fox to pull something like that.

It was an out of control temper tantrum. Too bad Wallace didn't mention Monica.

I think he looks terrible. He looks sick. He could possibly be losing it.
He didn't even get that mad when he was in the White House, getting condemmed for one of his other infamous pranks.
