Could you describe each level?

1. Someone you talk easily with but not too deeply.
2. Someone you hang out with in your spare time.
3. Someone that listens to your feelings and cares.
4. Someone that you would ask for help with things that you cant do on your own. And they ask you when they need help.
5. If they are male then you must be able to tell them "Are you retarded"? when needed.

This is like take your cloths off piece by piece
and if nothing left but you can hold it to not have sex together is real friendship.
First level people call each other friends because they just know each other.
Second are good friends if they care about each other.
Last is The best friend is like soul mate /but no sex/ gives you every help and you give back if the person needs - no any conditions at all is Friend For Life.

There are, but I don't think anyone has actually labeled them. They are the levels of trust and intimacy that you develop with a friend. Some friends are closer than others, and trusted more. Eventually, they might be let all the way in to your heart where you don't need to pretend any longer and you can drop your walls and be completely real. That level takes a longer time to get to and is a lot more rare.

for me, there are no levels of friendship... it depends on the persons you make friends with... there are persons who just make you to be there friend just for such reasons, some are whole hearted and sincere...

Yeah, there are levels: Acquaintance, Casual friend, friend, good friend, real good friend, close friend, best friend, friend that is like family.
