Hey Hon,
Don't lose hope if you are trying to conceive!

Everyone is different and the more you think about it, a.k.a. stress about it, the less likely it is to happen!

The going belief is one year. However if you've been trying and having problems: Clear blue easy makes a fertility monitor kit that you can get over the counter in just about any pharmacy(i used it to conceive my first son, it only took about two months to conceive. One month to use the kit to figure out when i was ovulating and the next cycle i became pregnant).

Hope this helps!

I've known married couples who conceived on their wedding night, and other that took years. There are many factors to consider, not the least of which, is your body ready to carry a child?

A study completed in 2005 showed that women who lived well past 90 didn't conceive their first child until they were in their 30s. This was a time before child control. The theory is that they simply matured slower. We have been seeing the emergence of a new form of human that is living longer and developing slower, but couple try to fight evolution by forcing a pregnancy through artificial means.

The first time I got pregnant it took 1 try, well we weren't even trying but that is all it took. After we lost that baby it took about a month. Again we weren't trying it just happened.
I have found that if you don't try so hard then it happens easier. Also if you drink a lot of orange juice the folic acid is good for you and your chances of getting pregnant.

First pregnancy took, i believe, around 8 months, second pregnancy took 3 months and this one now, 6 months along, took 5 months.

Im so fertile i can "think" about stopping my birth control and i can get pregnant.
