The title of most addicting video game is depends upon several factors. There were people playing pong until they fainted when it first came out. There are people who lose their job and family life due to playing excessive amounts of WoW (World of Warcraft). There is actually recorded evidence of people dying after playing WoW for over three straight days. I once wrote a paper in college about my addiction to video games. The games I played most were Battlefront, Lotr Return of the King, and Ages of Empires ll: Age of Kings, Conquers Expansion. And when you write your paper make sure you quote your sources, namely me.

Dr. Maressa Orzack, a clinical psychologist at McLean Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts, was interviewed August 8, 2006 stating that of the 6 million subscribers "I'd say that 40 percent of the players are addicted."

Tetris was my most addicting game of all time. I used to see the blocks falling when I'd try to go to sleep.

Honestly I found World of Warcraft highly addicting. Other games i've been hooked on though were Diablo 2, any roleplaying game, Half Life(1 and 2).

For me it's Guild Wars and Counter Strike. I used to play Counter Strike from Friday night until Sunday night straight. Taking short breaks to go to the bathroom. With Guild Wars I was so hooked that I would wake up around 11pm and play until morning.
