First try and relax. Second, your symptoms could be caused by a lot of things. The only way to determine whether or not you are pregnant is by taking a home pregnancy test (or seeing a doctor). You can take the test when and if you miss your period. The tests come with instructions so read them. You can also get free pregnancy testing at planned parenthood. You'll have to pee in a cup and they'll be able to tell you the results in a few minutes. If the test is positive you can talk to a counsellor there about your options without being pushed or judged. You'll have three options adoption, keeping a child and abortion all three are valid and safe choices but, only one is best for you. If it's negative, you can talk to someone to learn more about contraceptive and sexually transmitted diseases and possibly get on hormonal birth control to avoid pregnancy scares in the future. Good luck!

Oh, and Planned Parenthood won't tell your parents about the test or contraceptives! If you choose to have an abortion, hopefully you live in a good state and they won't tell your parents about that one either. That is, if you don't want them to know.

Wait another week. If you still haven't had your period by then, use the pregnancy test first thing in the morning. If you are pregnant, your HGC levels (that's a naturally occuring hormone in your body) will be highest and you'll have a better chance of getting an accurate reading. If it's negative try again in another week. The further along in the pregnancy the higher the HGC levels and a better chance to be detected by the pregnancy test.

If it's positive tell your parents so you can make an appointment with your doctor to have a blood test done, that's the only real way to confirm your pregnant early on. If you feel like you cannot go to your parents go to a family planning clinic. THEY ARE NOT JUST FOR ABORTIONS, WHICH I DO NOT ADVOCATE. They will help you find a way to get the prenatal care you need.....and stay in school.

BTW...you can find out you are pregnant earlier than 6 weeks. I took a pregnancy test a week before I was going to have my period because my body was feeling the same way it had when I was last pregnant. The PT gave me a positive result as well as the blood test taken at my doctors office the next day.

When I first got pregnant, one of the first things that I noticed was that I was urinating more frequently than before and I was drinking much more fluids than normally. If you got your last period August 26, I would wait a little longer before you take a pregnancy test because your period should be due around this time, right?

Personally, I would probably wait about 3 or 4 more days before I would take the test to make sure that the reading was accurate. A false negative can occur though, remember that. But, it is usually very unusual to experience a false positive.

The pregnancy test is pretty simple to use. When I first took my first pregnancy test, I also thought it would be complicated, but basically, you just pee on a stick. I also used the Clear Blue test when I found out that I was pregnant.

Also, the symptoms that you are experiencing may just be premenstrual. These are similar to the symptoms that I get right before my period.

Oh yeah, and the more you stress out, the more you may delay your period.

we'll If you had ur period on August 26 then it is way too soon to have a food increase or backache or tolit increase this dosent happen untill mucjh later. The headaches and nausea are first symptoms. U should be getting ready for another period. Just wait till then and if you dont get it then go but a test. The box tells u how to use it. You can also go to the free clinic and take a test.

Hey Hon,
I'm a bit confused but I'll try to help. If you've missed a period, go ahead and take the test(they come with instructions, normally located inside the box, like tampons has).

You can't find out if your pregnant until your about six weeks pregnant which is when u normally miss a period. This is when a doctor can perform a blood test and/ or exam to tell if you are.

The exam is called a pelvic exam and is normally given with a pap test.

There are other signs too: the areola and nipples become darker, you get nodules(or little bumps) around the areola, your breasts become more tender, your vagina becomes swollen due to increased blood flow, and your vagina turns to a purple or blueish color due to the increased blood flow.

By all means if u miss a period and you normally don't miss periods, go see a doctor.

In the mean time try not to stress out about it, because stress can make your period late or make you skip your period.

And if you choose to have sex again and don't want to be pregnant, use birth control(in some places you can get it free from your local health department and it's confidential) or use CONDOMS(can also be obtained confidentially through some local health departments)!

BUT THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU: SEX CAN WAIT U CAN ABSTAIN!

If your boyfriend or fiance or whatever can't understand this, he don't deserve you!

Hope this helps!

Every pregnancy is different and every woman experiences different things, I was running to the toilet all the time by the time I was six weeks, and never had nausea until about 12 weeks. Your symptoms will be different so take the test, if it's negative don't worry and just wait for your period, then after a week or so if you still haven't had a period than go to the Dr's and find out for sure that's the best thing to do.

I have all those symptoms right before I start my period. Home pregnancy tests are not 100% accurate. I never knew I was pregnant with my son until 8 weeks. That was through the eigth blood test.

you could take a home pregnancy test about a week after your first missed period (the directions on how to use them are on the box usually), but from the sounds of it, you might just be nervous about being pregnant, which can lead to feeling some of the symptoms that come with pregnancy. my suggestion would be to relax and just give it time.

you can take a pregnancy test 5 days before your missed period or any day there after if you have started your period.

Go to http://www.peeonastick.com and it will tell you all about pregnancy tests.

Be careful next time if this is a false alarm. You should consider going to a doctor and get on birth control and also use condoms.
