Does anyone know how to make the black and white film filter that was used in Sin City the movie, that creates a black and white environment with additional items painted in color.

I know how the process occures with the green screen and the superimposing of the video, I just need to know how to make the filter?

It was awesome ... the cinematography should have won an Oscar.
