I have toured around the country before. I have also worked a greast desk job for 2 years and want to go forward in marketing. I am jobless but have an opp to hit the road again doing merch for only 300 a week. But i might have an opp to work for 35k a year, even though i think i should make over 45-5-k. What the hell should I do? Is destiny pulling me in two different directions?

You said it yourself: you want to go forward in marketing. Take the job. It's better to be underpaid than unemployed.

Close your eyes! Sit in a comfortable position either on a chair or wherever you feel good.

Do not think about anything for at least 5 Minutes till you realie that you have not been thinking anything. Slowly try evaluating your options critically. Weigh all pros and cons that you see attached with both the alternatives. Your innerself will find an answer for your duality within 30 Minutes flat. You will need to concentrate on your thoughts though.

Do what gives you Happiness in life because, you will never be able to purchase hapiness with money in this world!

Thanks!

I would choose whatever you would enjoy doing more currently. Who knows...if you do the rock & roll tour, maybe something more will come out of it...then again if you take the desk job, maybe it might be eliminated in the future. Who knows? Life is all about taking different paths...choose one and if it doesn't work, there is always another road to take!

When will you know for sure about the job? The safest bet is to wait around for that and the security and development opportunities that it would offer.

A chance of a lifetime

Yeah!

On the other hand.....

Why not tour the country?

Heck! You know you really want to!

Might have the opportunity? I'd take the sure thing, whichever it is. Take the offer on the table, whether on the road or behind a desk, and don't look back.

look at yourself in a brutally honest way----and have your friends critique your act---(singing or whatever) if you think you are good enough then go for it--(the tour)--after all your only young or able to do interesting off the wall stuff --before settling into a 9 to 5

Take the job, stop being a loser. 2 weeks is nothing on the road. You're gonna be back before you know it.. still broke.. still jobless.. and still lame!

The money is not important! Really!!! Do the one that you think you will be the happiest in doing!! Follow what your heart says not the dollar you will be much happier.
