my fiance & i keeps on arguing about his friends. i don't like them coz they don't influence him right. they drag him to do things (of course, those i don't like) and him, knowing that i would get mad once i get to know about it, tends to lie about it. i've told my fiance thousandth times that i don't like them but he still keep them.
what should i do?

If he lies to you about it, he has already picked them over you. Sorry to say that that behavior probably won't stop.

according to the age old rule " tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are". I believe both you and your fiancee are of legal ages. Hence, nobody can force you or influence you to do things without your consent. From what I can see, your fiancee is still undergoing peer pressure something that should have been overcome by a mature person. Talk to your fiancee about your concern. Be objective. Discuss how his behavior has affected your feelings and the way your relationship is going. Do not force your fiancee to choose between you and his friends immediately. You should value yourself above his friends cause if you are to be his lifetime partner you should be. Try to assess how you might be seeing the situation. Do you hate his friends cause they are into drugs? Or do you feel jealous cause much of his time is spent with them. Are you overjealous or too tight in your relationship? Males generally hate jealous girlfriends or wives for that matter. Try to be calm when dealing with his friends. And finally, if they are not bunch of criminals, befriend them also. Still, if the situation persist, evaluate your best effort in reaching out to your fiancee and decide for the better. Maybe he is not yet ready to face more mature relationships like marriage. Finally, pray and ask the Lord for guidance. God bless.

Sounds like your going to be a control freak! Your Fiance is a big boy! He don't need a Mother, he has one! They are not your friends, they are his! You have no right to try and control! He should run from you as fast as he can! Your forcing him to lie to you! Just because a person gets married don't mean they must stop living! Your making marriage a prison and your the warden! You will make friends as a couple, then they will be your friends!
You don't respect his right to be human or a person and if your going to be this big of a control freak be for you get married, God help him after your married!

Lose the fiance, he doesn't respect your feelings or your wishes otherwise he would not lie to you or go out with his friends to places and do things that he knows you would not approve of.

It seems he has little concern for your feelings. Marrying this guy can only bring you pain. I would suggest you move on and find a man who respects you and your feelings.

change his status to that of "ex-fiance", sounds better than ex-husband doesn't it ? find someone that you can be happy with ! keyword : happy !, if you're not happy now, there's no better time to get out than the present.

Talk to him about it.Ask him if he would like to lie to you when you get married?Don't ask him me or them.You have to make him think.My opinion as a women,well I think is gust trying to test your buttons.Men are gust like kids.If they can get away with things They will try anything.Good luck and god bless.

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose
But you cant pick your friend's nose.
The more you try to dictate his friendships, the more he will resist. Tell him how much you like his friends, invite them to dinner, get to know them and really like them, and he will get tired of you spending so much time with his friends (and jealous) that he will want to spend time with only you.
