Why should it? It used to be that you had to physically appear in a place in order to get a job, or even present an Idea. I think that perhaps the internet has finally made all people equal. Because a kid in the most violent ghetto could conceivably compete in the same market as a lazy white kid who only wants to play unreal tournament.
the internet brings forward an unprecedented exchange of Ideas. It used to be that being a 'c' student in the U.S. was better than being an 'a' student anywhere else. Well, not anymore. The next Bill Gates could come from Malawi instead of silicon valley.
Now it's what you know that matters, more than who you are. The issue of Race was artifice from the start. Now it's totally irrelevant.
