I was in my kitchen early this evening when I started hearing this. I consider myself sane and not drunk or high in any way.

one of 3 things: acoustics of your place. Sometimes on a clear still day, the things I whisper on my balcony can be heard 4 blocks away.

2) Feedback: sometimes the human brain can go into a feed-back loop much like electronic equipment, and a memory of a sound can actually seem as if you are hearing it.

3) You may have heard angelic music.

If you were very depressed at the time it could have been what is called a "mystic experience".

Sometimes, though, disturbed sound waves can sound like music or voices. Fans cause it as does wind in electric lines.

How can you possibly know what "angel music" sounds like? Surely you don't let movie composers influence you. - all those soprano voices ?
I imagine Angels ( if they existed) have a sound nothing like anything we've ever heard before

Now that's what I'm talking about; great answers to a ridiculous question. You guys rock! That wasn't angelic music, it obviously was classic rock, but I can understand your confusion. We forgive you. --- Rat

It could be like hearing voices--only you hear music--as though it is in the room--not just in your head. See the doc, perhaps?
