I find that , surprisingly, unexpectedly, many people are visiting mine. Some-thing un-usual and original must be in mine, that I do not even realise. Studying my web page, this is the advise that I will give you to get people to visit yours. Let every aspect of your web page reflect you 100% Every thing in your web page must be true of your-self, so that all can see that this is you, and everyone can sum up what you are like, your culture, what you do , and every-thing about you . Of course it would be a very positive summing up ; people would become interested in you , and your exciting mysterious life.

You could put it as part of the comments in a Yahoo Question !
The surest way is to get your self a link on a popular page. It doesn't have to be seen, a hidden link in the corner will do. That will get you right up the search engine rankings,
I know of some bizarre websites that get loads of hits because they have an invisible link on some large corporate website somewhere.

-Ask them to visit it.
-Get your other freinds who have web pages to put a link from thiers to yours.
-Give the people something that they may like, something which will attract them.
-If you use message boards and such, make your signature the address for your site.
-If its subject oriented, join a web ring.
Overall its all bout getting the address out there.

write articles and post them on the web with ur contact info
News press releases
magazine articles and so on

go to yahoo search. type in: how do i advertise my website, scroll down to number 6, click on it.when the page comes up scroll all the way to the bottom,there is a list.
