I'm not sure if I should be mad about it or not. I'm hurt because it feels like I'm not good enough. On the other hand....I know I probably shouldn't be mad because "it's a guy thing".
Girls - would you be mad?
Guys - why DO you keep those magazines around? My bf says it's "for the articles". That sounds like bullsh.t to me....

Nope, they are just magazines and can't hurt me or my relationship of 5 years. Men are visual creatures and I know that although I am pretty hot, I will never look like the girls in the magazines and that's ok.
My bf from time to time will pick up a Playboy or some other mag and look through it and I have looked through it with him and after him. The girls are very done up and airbrushed and he knows it, but whatever, it's a thrill.
And his line about the articles actually is kinda true, some of them are really well written and the jokes are funny too. But trust me he doesn't ignore the naked ladies in between the writing.
As long as his looking at the mags doesn't affect your relationship sexually or otherwise let him be, he doesn't care when you get all fired up over a Cosmo or Glamour, does he?
So, long story short, let him be. Maybe next time he's reading one you could ask him if he would like at an home nude posing. Trust me he'll drop that mag faster than you can say Hugh Hefner.

My husband and I have been married 28 years. Don;t sweat it. It has nothing to do with you. It is more or less a curiosity thing . Like a peeping /tom. I found a magazine once, I got upset because my 12 year old son at the time found it and was reading it.

Playboy? Yeah, its a guy thing. Playboy is a part of growing up for guys and its still entertaining for us as adults from time to time. Dads and even Grampa's glance through them at the hunting shack. And yes, the articles are good. where else can you read an interview with Jack Nicholson, and then read about Bambi's "turn-offs " and "turn-ons"? And believe me, we don;t compare you to those girls....they're air-brushed and we know it!

If he wants to read dirty articles he would go to stuff magazine. He's so in it for the hot babes in itsy bitsy clothing. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. Personally, yes i would get mad. Second of all, of course i'd feel like i'm not enough of woman for him. hating the feeling that I cant satisfy him and he has to look to playboy models to fulfill his needs. I'd say roll that playboy magazine up and smack the living shi*t out of him.

Playboy isn't that bad when it comes to dirty magazines. Don't get too mad at him. The articles can be ok, and the pictures are pretty hot.

I'm a girl and one time I found a PB in my boyfriend's home. Yeah...I actually started reading the articles. Believe it or not, they're actually entertaining. But don't worry...he's never going to meet these women.

Girl he is a man . Its okay to look at a magazine as long as he's not cheating. Now you know you be looking at mags with cute boys in it maybe even naked :) . No need to be mad.. Matter of fact look at mag with him , he'll like that. My bf had a porno and I watched it with him , no need to get mad.Either he'll do it with you or behind your back , its your call

Actually I kind of enjoy reading the articles. We don't do it because our gf isn't doing it for us. It's just a magazine... with some nude photos in it.
