God bless studio fix! I use it on top of a concler. BUt be sure you ALWAYS use a primer/moisteriser! If i want a better coverage, I wet my spounge and apply. But use a BIG poof brush for a soft look! and always, after you apply your makeup, no matter what it is, but sure to take a clean brush over you skin to catch anything thats 'loose' and to add extra blending to your face.

And if you want to double check your look, do it in direct sunlight (sheild your eyes of course...) nothing beats natrual light!

I use it and love it. It looks "natural" on me I guess cause people can't tell I am wearing make up (at least people who have never seen me without it!). I use the pad thing it comes with but I've been told by the girls at the Mac counter that it has the effect of looking more cakey or "full" whatever you want to call it. I personally like how it looks on me with that thing. They said if you use a brush (the kind of brush you'd use for a liquid foundation), it applies on lighter and not as thick. Good luck! Oh yeah and don't keep applying throughout the day...just once and that should be enough otherwise, it could look too much.

They have another product called Prep and prime skin. "An ultra-fluid lotion formulated with special-effect silicones. Calms and soothes the skin, blots away excess oil, and evens out skin redness. Improves the laydown and application of foundation or powder" Put this on first. Wait ten minutes, then apply Studio fix with a powder puff. Lightly. This is special event makeup. Iwouldn;t use this everyday

Use it spareingly. Cover the places you need covered and if you set it with powder be sure to take a large brush and blend, blend, blend. It will take away the cakey look and give you a more matte airbrushed look. Good luck.

Studio tech is stable for generic to dry epidermis, i like it, quite in winter. Studio restoration is greater for greasy epidermis, on dry epidermis it may tutor off your dry factors and look cakey and powdery

use the sponge it comes with. replace it regularly. don't overdo it. it works very well and gives great coverage, but if you keep applying it you will look like those circus crazies.
