how big is the belly?? my cousin said shes 4 months pregnant and i wanna get her a cute outfit but i dont know if i should get her maternity clothes or not because its only been 4 months.

Take a look at www.americanbaby.com... they have a feature that takes a look a pregnancy month-by-month. Every woman shows at a different time... so maybe the better gift would be to give her a gift card and have her decide what to buy.

i am 5 months and started wearing maternity clothes about 2 weeks ago. I weighed 127 lbs before pregnancy I wear a size medium in maternity. Dont buy reg clothes because she wont get much use out of it. Maternity she can wear even after she delivers.

If she isn't ready quite yet at 4 months, than she will be any day now. Go for the maternity clothes. People don't show that they are pregnant usually for only the first trimester (3 months).

Well that would be hard to tell,everybody is shaped differently,especially pregnant women.It all depends on her size.It's best to go to your nearest maternity store & ask an associate for help.Some women don't start to show till theyre 5-6 months along but some start to show earlier like around in the 4th month.Here are some maternity clothing sites you can check out & maybe get a clue to what size your friend is,hope this helps & good luck to you.

Get her a top that can be converted into normal wear. When I had my 2 daughters I had this navy and red shirt that I was able to tuck in when I wasn't pregnant, when I became pregnant again for the last time I put the string back in and it was a maternity top again.
It took the top 10 yrs to fall apart since I loved the thing to death...LOL

Belly size depends on the woman. Every each one of them are different. Find out her size for pre-pregnancy clothes and go from there. If you look online for pregnancy clothes, they usually have a chart that shows pre-pregnancy size to what size she should get for pregnancy clothes. They go by small, medium, large, no specifics, cause, well you should know, pregnancy.
Go ahead buy her a cute outfit, but check out the charts online for size. I'll give you a head start, check out this site for sizes.

Her belly size depends on whether this is her first pregnancy? If it's her second and so forth...the woman's belly is much bigger. Women are very conscious of their ever changing body. She might feel more comfortable buying her own clothes right now. If you really want to do something nice for your cousin, buy her a something nice, other than clothes. What would she really like right now????

If she is wearing maternity clothes yet can also depend on her body type. I am only 8 weeks pregnant and am quite small, and I just started wearing maternity clothes. Maybe you can contact her and ask her if she's wearing them yet.

it's alright. go ahead and get her maternity clothes. she might not need it now, but later in the pregnancy, she'll need it, definitely! if it's her first pregnancy, she is probably not showing yet. i didn't start gaining weight until after 5 months. and at 7 months, i had to wear maternity clothes. in my opinion, i don't think first moms need maternity clothes until late in their pregnancy. but for their second pregnancy, they would need it after about 4 months.

She will start wearing maternity clothes now. Don't buy anything too big. It's just a bump.
