Sounds like that ball bering is dieing. If you knwo the size (80mm, 90mm, 100mm, 120mm) go to your local computer store, and buy a new one. They make them cheap now ($2.99). If you dont know the size, measure it (8CM, 9cm, 10cm, 12cm) or bring it with you and ask the tech.

The inside of your computer may be dirty, also could have power supply issues.

Putting in the new fan if you buy one is easy to do. i can walk you thru the steps. When was the last time you cleaned out the heat sink in the back? Use some canned air and blow it up for the fan on the bottom of the machine. it should come out the back.
