To run a website, you don't require a company to register. Same way, to sell anything or produce anything or extend any service, you don't require a company to register. You may choose any form of business outfit, even as an individual, to run a website or do any business.

Even then if you go for registering a company, think 10 times before registering one. It would not only entail the registration costs, but also certain annual costs on regular basis to ensure many legal compliance. Registering a new company is far easier than closing it.
