Here is one page on Middle English Grammar:

For reading, say, Chaucer, I agree with the first sentence, in that there is no need to study the grammar as it will come quite naturally. It's not so very different from Modern English! The vowels have changed through the centuries ("i" is pronounced as it is in "lit", "wit", etc), and you will be able to tell much by the natural rhythm. Another web site says that it will take just 4-5 weeks to master the "language".

There are quite a few good glossaries on line for words.
