There may be a rare exception as the ticking time-bomb argument suggests. Hypothetically, if a terrorist has to be tortured to reveal information that results in stopping a nuke from going off, then that is clearly a justifiable case.
But that certainly wasn't the case at Abu Ghraib. Legislating torture and widespread implementation of torture during interrogations will only radicalize moderate Muslims even more, creating a more dangerous environment for our country and troops.

I guess it's just as wrong as other countries end up torturing Americans, killing them, and dismembering them.
Other governments in other countries don't seem to have any problem with their troops and terrorists carrying out these dastardly deeds.
Is our Government wrong? Yeah! But so is every Government for doing it.
Amd when was the last time our Government sent us video tapes of our troops torturing prisoners, like the terrorists do for us. It is all wrong. But war is war...no matter how you slice it. What needs to be done...needs to be done.
It may just save some of us from being bombed or overtaken.
