How long did it take you to get comfortable wearing four inch heels?

i used to be an exotic dancer, and wearing the shoes that were in at the time, really made my feet sore. i wore them every night for a year straight. the other girls told me to wear them at home to get used to them and to stretch them out, but that really did not work. my feet hurt on a daily. so i recomend finding a shoe that may be a higher heel, but making sure that the sole of the shoe is high also, like a platform, to make your feet stay in an even level rather than an elevated slope putting pressure on the balls of your feet. now a days they have really cute and sexy shoes that are not as high as 4 inches, or even choose some kind of platform even if it is not that high

I have never worn four-inch heels, and never will!

First of all, I'm 5'7". I'm totally happy with my height and not interested in being or looking taller. What would be the point?

Secondly, the few times I tried on high heels, I felt so unsteady and wobbly that I honestly don't think I could EVER have worn them long enough to get comfortable with them, because I'd end up spraining my ankles and/or falling down BEFORE I could ever get comfortable with the heels.

As if all this weren't enough, it's not physically good for your feet, legs and/or hips to wear high heels for an extended period. That's a medical fact.

And there's my answer. :) Which wasn't very useful, I suppose. heh

I like wedge heels, it's more comfortable.

i haven't worn them for long but even 2 inch i'm not comfortable with. i'm more a sneaker person
