If you really really have to pee, your lower abdomen hurts. That's where the bladder is.

Because women have a shorter urethra than men so you are trying to hold back the pain in the lower bladder.

Cause that's where our bladder is and sometimes holding that area just below the bladder cuts the urine off from coming out!!! Afterall, nobody wants to pee themselves.

most women I know cross their legs or tense them together, not hold their lower abdomen.
