If I'm sad about love, then I end up listening to sad songs about heartbreak or something. I guess if I sing my heart out it sorta gets it out of my system. Then I'll put on some Alanis Morisette or something like that. And eventually I'll move on to happy feel good type music that I would listen to if I was working out. Sorta like an emotional rollercoaster.

I listen to Christian rock. It's positive and uplifting and replaces the negative feelings. I don't like adding to sadness with sad songs, it just prolongs misery, and nobody likes to feel sad longer than they have to.
