I normally have an irregular period, but it has been about seven weeks since my last one, which isn't normal. I've taken two pregnancy tests, and both have been negative.
Are there some tests that work better than others?
Should I wait another few weeks and see if I get my period?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You could have a blood pregnancy test performed as opposed to a urine pregnancy test. They are more accurate than a urine test. Also, there could be something else totally different going on.
This happened to me before, so I went to my doctor. Turns out my thyroid levels were off, which threw off everything, and I mean everything! Just go see your doctor and see what he has to say!

I always had irregular periods as well, but when I did get pregnant and found out at about five weeks, the test came back positive and it was a generic brand.You can always go to the doctor and they can do a blood test but I just really think that you would have a positive if you are that late.you can wait and see if you get your period but the doctor may also be able to help you with something that will regulate you, I know mine did.

Only you Know ur body and if u say that it isnt normal then it isnt wait another week if u dont get ur period try another pregnancy test if it comes out negative go see a doctor and find out what is up with ur body and ask him for a blood test to omake sure u r not pregnant

you could wait a few more weeks but the best thing to do is to go and see a doctor. You could be stressing over nothing. A doctor will be able to do a blood test and fine out for sure whats going on. If you are not pg then they will be able to find out why you dont have your period.

some pregnancy test can be wrong! or it may be too early to tell! first response is the best but u still migt not shpw up on that~ i would wait 4 days test again and if ur still not showing up on the test i would go to the docter and get a blood test done!!! good luck

well to rule it out all together go to the Doc and get a blood test done, that is the most conclusive way to either say yeah or ney to being pregnant, those test can produce false negatives

I would wait on more wek and then go to see a doctor. They can do a blood test that is pretty much 100%.

that is quite a bit to be late..get your dr to give you a blood test..that will tell for sure..first response test worked for me though at 5 days late.
