Blues music, obviously :-). Seriously, though I will listen to music
that will hopefully brighten my mood. I think blues music would
just magnify my emotions. Some upbeat rock/pop or dance/
electronica/techno might just do the trick. I love all types of
music. I think listening to something like goth or death metal
would be a poor choice based on the mood you told me.

upset mad, or upset sad..?
Upset mad, I listen to Rock. Songs that tell it how it is. Something upbeat. Right now, my upset mad song is Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescence.
Upset sad.... I listen to softer music. Sappy love songs, Adult contemporary, etc.

I listen to some Crime mob or some Master P in the old days. Something "crunk" with a grimmy sound (Jason/Freddy type) and ALOT of bass and grimmy lyrics.
