Any were from 3-6 months, depending on how "hungry" they are. Sometimes milk or formula is not enough to keep them through the night. When that happens you start feeding them baby food.
But check with the doc first. Sometimes they will have food allergies at these early age's so it is good to always talk to a doc first.

All babies are different. My girlfriend started to feed her daughter table food like mashed potatoes @ 4 months.I know some people say you should not give babies anything but formula until 1 year. I think it's really up to the parents and how your child reacts to the food. I gave my son and daughter both baby food at about 5-6 months.Just don't turn out to be one of those parents on Maury with the 300 pound 2 year old.

My daughter was 3 months when she started getting rice in her bottle. At about 4 1/2 months she started getting very simple baby food, now at 10 months she could care less about her bottle unless she is going to bed and just wants real food.

This depends on your child you and your Dr. Many Dr's recommend that baby's be kept on formula for the first year. others recommend 6 to 9 months all recommend that you start with cereal and only one kind at a time this way if they are allergic to something you and the Dr will have a fairly good idea what.

6 mos. is best. i taught wic nutritional classes and i saw many mothers who were feeding babies early because it helped the baby sleep through the night. it is not natural for infants to go straight to the food from the tummy. it's a timely process. some mothers wouldn't understand why the babies had tummy aches all day. while baby sleeps, the digestive tract slows like everything else does. go easy on baby. especially if u r bottle feeding. bottles are easy babysitters. good luck!

at six months you can start the flaky rice cereal. When they eat that consistently you can add a little fruit into the cereal followed by cereal and half a jar of fruit. be careful of giving too much fruit cause a baby develops a sweet tooth and then will not eat veggies very willingly

This is a hard question, because most doctors want you to wait. Me on the other hand had large babies. They would have starved to death on just formula. I fed my daughter a little cereal in her bottle when she was 2 half weeks. My two sons were on fruit at one and half month. If you are worried all became athletes. my sons are 6'4 and 6'6 1/2. Daughter only got to 5'9. As long as they don't have allergies, judge yourself.
