If you fill the trunk with those little hangy tree air fresheners, I'm sure the smell will go away.
Or you could always burn something in your trunk. The smell of smoldering ash is better than the 'dead body' smell any day.

take the car out in the hot sun andafter washing it thoroughly with soap and water keep the trunk open facing the hot sun. The hot sun will remove the stench

Leave a dead body in the passenger seat..in a few weeks you wont even notice the smell in the trunk

I hope that you are joking! but yes i think that Febreze works great as does the Clorox version of Febreze! I know it works because my husband once brought a friend to a farm to kill a goat for the meat, and they transported the goat's meat in the trunk of our car, the blood leaked out of the bag and we used the clorox type of febreze and it worked great!

Well, first you need some brain detergent. Then try to realize the older you get, the more brain detergent you need to get the smell out.

Hang up some car freshners in it. Try some from Yankee candle they have a new one that's pretty strong.
