More seriously, this is probably due to one of two things (or a combination of the two):
1. You don't actually see that particularly often, it's just that when you DO see it, you notice it and remember it. Sort of the same way that gamblers remember their wins and forget their losses; humans are too skillful at finding patterns for their own good.
2. After getting it into your head that you're often seeing 1111, you now tend to glance at devices that display numbers whenever they are most likely to display that number (for example, around 11:11 AM). In other words, a self-fulfilling prophecy.
At any rate, I can guarantee you it is NOT due to supernatural forces.
