Go back and get them to stamp it. The signature without the stamp is worthless.

Yes,take it back,and if nothing else,have the whole doc re-done if required.It should not be your problem.It can happen as an oversight,and it certainly can be fixed.If it is,example a bank doc,see if you can read the notaries name or any name on doc.Usually these same people are in the same work area.
source: I work at a bank,and have stamped a few thousand,for sure.Just call me crunchy fingers,those seals are a health hazard..we must improve this.it is worse than anything ,carpal tunnel..what about those wax seals,could they be any worse?lol

nothing will happen to you b ut I b elieve legal offices will not honor the documents signed by a notary public. so much so if the office is ran by the government. the putting of stamp is covered under the law of man in a government

It depends on your state, some are OK with it and others will not accept the document without it... and some are very strict about handling it. Below is a link for only one state but it contains information about general information.

It wont have any legal binding. Like it wouln't be considered valid and it won't hold up in a court of law.

It's invalid...gotta go back and hope they will without doing it all over again.....they have to witness all signitures and verify them....just make sure they don't charge you again.
