I'll be honest, I'm writing for a class concerning the works of Thomas More, Tomasso Campanella, Descartes, and Galileo. I am trying to make connections with the paradigm shift from the traditional to modernity, religion to science, and how this can be relevent today. I am terribly out of touch with today's politics, and am looking to tie it into the situation in Iraq, with Bin Ladin and our war. I am researching right now, but would like some intelligent input. well, i don't know how much this will help you out, but what we have being played out today is bigger than most think. we may be witnessing the descent of one religion from "the top" and the ascent of another. also, we see a weakening, from America's standpoint, in the relative power of it's empire, and it's "world credibility" with the whole thing.
