No, you shouldn't go behind your parents backs & get anything peirced. I think that at your age your required by law to have a parents consent. Any place or anyone who is willing to do this with out your parents consent is not responsable enough to be putting holes in your body ~ in my opinion. You have to think long term about this.... What about the use of dirty needles &/or infections & scaring. If your parent have said NO I'm sure that they have good reason.

Sweetheart, you really should wait a few years before you make that decision. Not only do you have to be 18 to get your belly button pierced (in most places) but you're going against your parents wishes and there is the risk they will find out and you'll be in deep doo doo. I got my belly button pierced my freshman year of college. It was an impulsive, spontaneous decision. A year and a half later I decided I didn't like it anymore, that it wasn't my style, and so I took it out. I'll probably always have a scar. So think hard about this.... you'll probably feel completely different about the subject if you wait a few years. Trust me.
Good luck!

I had my belly button pierced. I was fortunate, in that I knew my piercer and he gave me VERY GOOD advice to see that it healed properly, so long as I tended to it properly. While I really never had any problems with, or due to, my piercing, there is always the risk of infection and possible tearing / getting ripped out (as with most any piercing). I personally think 14 is a little young, but also think age should not be the only factor. You have to consider if she will be responsible in getting it healed (this can be a lengthy process), how active she is, the type of clothing she likes to wear (rubbing can be very irritating), why she wants it done, and then also, can you find a good piercer?... In some states, even with your consent, she may not be able to be pierced yet.

I personally think you should think of what you want to do and don't do it just cause a friend told you to (giving in to peer pressure). In any case, you are only twelve and that's way too young to be making that decision. It depicts a negative picture and can get you in trouble by giving men the wrong idea about yourself. I would say at least wait until about 16 or17 before you do this. You might see things differently by then. And you will know if you have a true friend if she gets upset with you for not giving into her.

I think you should wait and really think about why you want to do this. Is it just because your friend is doing it? In that case no. Be an individual. These days the people with out tattoos or piercings ar the unique ones.

YOU'RE 12 YEARS OLD.....you can not get anything pierced or tattooed before the legal age, without a parents consent and signature. Why do you want to grow up so fast???

Just wait until your old enough to get it done legally, which is 18. Because if your parents find out, you can get the tatoo parlor in big trouble. It's not worth it.

YOU'RE 12, you're still a child. Any "friend" that wants you to go against your parents wishes, lie to them, and disrespect them is no friend at all. Find new friends that respect you. And be a kid, don't be in such a hurry to grow up. Enjoy your childhood instead of spending it in a hurry to grow up.

First, do NOT respond to "Fahad" the freak who left you a message to contact him. He's a pervert!! Also, do not be in a hurry to poke holes in your body. I want you to imagine what a pierced naval looks like on a pregnant woman.....it stretches and stretches..well, you get the picture. It's just not good.

Do it if you want to, not because your friend wants you to. That's how my hair went from almost three feet long to 8 inches when i was 12, cause my friend wanted to do it. If you do, you should have it proffessionally done so they dont hit any veins/ arteries, and you're at less risk for infection.
