What's a good way to make money in Runescape?

Question

The most money I've had so far is 5k and I'm a combat lvl 19! I see players with 100s of thousands of coins but I just don't know how to do it. Please help!!!

Well, at your level it will b really difficult for u to make "100's of thousands". I suggest you get your combat level up first, but then i would suggest you level your mining, get to where u can mine iron ore, then go south of Varrock and mine ore, sell the iron ore for about 100g ea, i bet u could make 50-100k and hour depending on how fast u mine. Other options you might consider is leveling woodcutting to 60 and cutting yews, it's hard but the cash really pays off... But really, i'd just stick with mining iron ore. ah the game runescape. i make money buy selling ur junk (stuff that u do not need), do the quests, fight monsters, and sometimes ppl die and u can pick that money up too. i am lvl 33 but i am doing pretty decent but it got boring after awhile. good luck!

well i used to buy rune essence for 10-20 each and sell it for 40 each but they changed it now i think. so the high level players dont buy it for that anymore. i quit about a month after i started playing it. it is a stupid game.

go underground and battle the giants - make sure you have lots of armor and food first. once you kill a giant, save his bones (don't bury them) - they're worth tons of money to sell. that's how i made lots of money on runescape. plus all around the giants are lots of little tidbits (weak swords and armor) that you can sell for money too.

you need good skills to make good money..like 40 fishing and cooking(catch and cook lobsters and sell 200gp each)60 woodcutting(cut yews and sell them 200gp each)mine coal (sell 170 to 200gp each)raise your smithing (make and sell steel bars for 500 to 550gp each)do all the free quests,get good armor and kill stuff and sell runes,arrows and most everything they drop(keep the cash of course)
