Hmm..I had two water turtles before, they were very easy to take care with. All you have to do is to prepare a tank that's big enough to let it swim. Some stones for decoration and to climb on can do too but they can craw out sometimes if your tank is too low and too much stone in it. And get them outside for sunbath is needed too as their shell might get ''sick''.
Usually, they eat turtle food but some vegetables and fruits can provide them with more nutrients! They eat banana, cabbage, and sometimes insects too.

If its a water turtle, very important that you have the water at the right temperature. If its cold, the turtle will stop eating.

First thing you have to do is find out what kind it is. Each kind of turtle has different needs. Take it to a reptile pet store or a veterinarian. When you find out, ask the person how to take care of it.
Get a book, that's better!! That way you always have something to go back to if you have questions.
Good Luck

If you got it from the wild, you need to let it go.
Also, you need to find out what kind of turtle you have in order to take care of it. Whatever it is though, PLEASE remember to get it a UVB lamp as well as a heat lamp, and give it plenty of room. Alot of turtles get large.

Put a turtle in a tank with enough water to swim in...just enough, don't fill it up. Put a rock or something it can climb out on when it wants to. Make sure you have a heat light and turn it on when necessary. (it's good to keep a thermometer in there to make sure it doesn't freeze or cook) Turtle sticks from the pet store should be its staple diet...they also like bugs, lick crickets once in awhile. Oh, and remember to clean the tank once in awhile...also good to have a filter in there but not necessary.
Make sure it is a turtle, btw...that it has webbing between the toes...if it's a tortoise, you'll kill it by doing what's stated above.

First you have to know what kind of turtle it is, then search the animal on google. If you don't know, then take it to a vet and ask.

What kind of a turtle is it? There's special turtle food at Walmart and petshops. If he/she is bigger....celery, lettuce, carrots, and veggies like that. Also- call a zoo if it's a big one.
