equals (25x^2) + 30x+9
(a+b)^2
= (a+b)(a+b)= a^3 + 2AB +B^2
keep the coeficients of course

5x+3 is a binomial.
(5x+3)^2 is the SQUARE OF A BINOMIAL
The SQUARE OF A BINOMIAL is a very, very special pattern. As you go further into algebra you will find the SQUARES OF BINOMIALS popping out every time you turn around. It is important to learn the very simple pattern you always get when you square a binomial.
The SQUARE OF A BINOMIAL always equals the:
Square of the first term PLUS
double the product of the two terms PLUS
the square of the last term.
For your binomial, the first term is 5x and the last term is 3.
Lets do the pattern.
Square of the first term<--->(5x)^2=25x^2
PLUS
double (times 2) the product of the two twrms<--->2(5x)(3)=30x
PLUS
Square of the last term<--->3^2=9
Put it together:
25x^2 + 30x + 9
(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2 (the square of a PLUS double the product ab PLUS the square of b)
(x-y)^2=x^2-2xy+y^2 (here, the middle term is double the product of x and -y (which are the two terms) or 2(x)(-y)=-2xy. The first term is the square of x =x^2. The last term is the square of (-y), (-y)^2= (-y)(-y)=y^2
If you will practice this pattern a little bit, the SQUARE OF A BINOMIAL will become just too easy.
In every algebra book you will find this important concept in a chapter called "SPECIAL PRODUCTS". It is called SPECIAL because it IS very, very, very special. Please, please, please! This chapter is so very special. Please take the extra effort to learn it well!

Hi, How are u?
Here is the answer:
ur question is (5x + 3)^2 right.
Lets use the basic formula here:
(a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab.
Applying to
(5x + 3)^2 we get= (5x)^2+3^2+2(5x)(3)= 25(x)^2+9+30x
This is the easiest method as FAR AS I CAN SEE.

(5x +3)(5x +3)
use FOIL ie First,Outside,Inside and then Last terms.
F irst 5x * 5x=25x^2
O utside 5x*3 = 15x
I nside 3 * 5x = 15x
L ast 3*3 = 9
add all together 25x^2 +15x +15x + 9
= 25x^2 +30x +9

(5x+3)^2 this problem is based on the formula (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2
here a=5x b=3
substitite we get
(5x+3)^2=(5x)^2+2*5x*3+(3)^2(multiply 5x two times)
=5x*5x+30x+3*3
=25x^2+30x+9

identity----> (a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab here a=5x and b=3
(5x+3)^2=(5x)^2+3^2+(2*3*5x)
=25(x^2)+9+30x
this is the final answer

i`ll give you a simple way:
square (5x)....answer is 25xsquare
now multiply 5x with 3 with 2......answer is30x
now square 3....answ is 9...
all you have to do now is put the three answers together.
that is 25x square+30x+9,
and tatz all...
hope i`ve been a bit helpful to you dear.
